Dr. Landry

Dr. Elise C. Landry, J.D., Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist in New Jersey and New York. She has a lifelong interest in mental health and family issues and studied psychology in college before earning a Master’s Degree in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. Upon completing her degree, Dr. Landry decided to further her education in the legal rights of individuals with mental health needs and family law by attending Washington College of Law at American University. Dr. Landry then spent a year clerking for the Honorable Anthony J. Mellaci, Jr., J.S.C. in the Monmouth County Superior Court of New Jersey, gaining invaluable experience in understanding the judicial process. Dr. Landry spent several years immersed in matrimonial and mental health law practice before recognizing that her experience in psychology and law would be best served by gaining additional training in forensic psychological assessment. Dr. Landry then obtained her Doctorate in Clinical-Forensic Psychology from The Graduate Center at CUNY/John Jay College of Criminal Justice.

After obtaining extensive predoctoral and postdoctoral training in clinical, neuropsychological, and forensic practice, Dr. Landry opened her current practice with a focus on clinical and forensic evaluation services for children, adolescents, adults, and families. Dr. Landry has built her practice on a reputation for being focused on stabilizing families in times of conflict and crisis.

Dr. Landry approaches each case with sensitivity, openness, and consideration of the unique characteristics of each individual and family.
